Shirley, Kathy, Steve and Myles. My memories of Mr. Lumsden are all from when I was a younger man or from my high school days when the gang of high school lads who hung out together would occasionally arrive at your farm. Mr and Mrs Lumsden always welcomed the gang. I recall a day when Mr. Lumsden, Myles and I went out gopher shooting one day in the pick up truck. Part of growing up on the prairies. I enjoyed our conversations whenever we met, either on the family farm, at the curling rink or the home in town. My condolences to the family with the passing of Jim.

To Shirley, Kathy, Steven, and Myles.
My heart always breaks a little when I hear of the passing of those people who were such an important part of my youth. I have such fond, clear memories of the enjoyment shared by the families of a tightly-knit rural community in which Jim was a stand-out. I'm filled with melancholy for those days that shaped my life, and for all of the great times spent with the Jim Lumsden family. Good people will always be remembered. My deepest sympathies for your loss.

Shirly, Kathy, Steven, Myles, on behalf of the Lindstrom family please accept our condolences.
I have very fond memories of the couple summers I spent helping Jim and Shirly as a teenager. Jim spent many hours pulling me around on the bale stooker. I remember his devilish grin when he baled up some green feed that was a little to green to be baled just to watch me struggle to stack them. Looking back at that time I really appreciated Jim and Shirly's patience with my teenage antics and the occasional trouble Myles and Steven had a hand at getting me into.
All the very best Shirly and the entire Lumsden family!
Rest in peace Jim
