Heard about Bob's passing and wanted to send our condolences to his family.
We knew Bob for many years and most of our memories have a definitely "crazy" and entertaining element to them. In the spirit of the family's memorial, we wanted to share one of our memories of Bob. He joined our adult (so called) baseball team one summer. There were a LOT of mosquitoes that year and, although we sprayed for them, it didn't make much difference. Bob played center field - out in mosquito territory ! He showed up wearing a beekeeper's hat with netting. Good for keeping mosquitoes at bay; not so good to see baseballs flying through the air. It made for some entertaining maneuvers out in center field !
No matter Bob's unique approach to life, we always knew that, if he called you "friend", he would go to the mat for you and he proved it for us. We have lost a unique and unusual personality, he went the way he would have wanted "Born to be Wild"
