Obituary of Frank Albert Lacroix

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Frank Albert Lacroix on December 5, 2020 at his home in Hanna, Alberta at the age of 73. Frank will be lovingly remembered by his son, Frank (Francis) of Calgary and daughter, Melanie of Airdrie, his 4 Grandchildren; (Kyla, Dante, Xander, Diego), Sisters; Sue, Mary, Louise. Frank will also be missed by his extended family members, friends and mourned by his 2 feline companions, Pita and Scamp. Frank was born in Toronto, Ontario and was predeceased by his parents G. Bruno and Marguerite (Rinneard), and his brother John. Frank was a magnificent cook and loved to share his home cooked meals from quaint gatherings to mass events. He never turned down an opportunity to wow a crowd with his exceptional cooking skills. The quality of his food was always unsurpassed. He had many friends from all over the globe, always made time for a story, a coffee and was a great listener. Frank valued his time volunteering and helping out within his community. He enjoyed his time at church, supporting the local SPCA and getting to know his neighbours. He had the best smile and will be forever remembered by all who had the privilege to meet him. Our family would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the medical professional teams who have assisted with Frank’s health care. Say not in grief: “He is no more”, but live in thankfulness that he was.” Hebrew Proverb No formal funeral service will be held at this time. Donations in his memory can be made directly to the Hanna SPCA.
