Just learned of Matt's passing. Matt and I conducted patrols together when he was with Alberta Fish and Wildlife in Edson, Alta. He was always the consummate professional at whatever he did. He was also a good friend. I was so glad I was able to speak with him by phone several years ago when we talked over old times.
