Obituary of Donna Marie Goodbrand

Donna Marie Goodbrand went to be with her Lord and Saviour on November 19, 2024. Donna passed away in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 93 years.

She was born to Don and Mary Goodbrand in 1931, lived on a farm and attended one-room schools until she went to Camrose Lutheran College to complete Grade 12. She then became a nursing assistant. Donna had three younger siblings: Alma, John and Ruth. She loved the outdoors, photography, painting and music. She was very active in her church, open to meeting new people and content in leading the simple life.

Donna will be lovingly remembered by her sister Ruth (Dean) Rea, sister-in-law Cynthia Goodbrand, and many special nieces, nephews and friends. 

She was predeceased by her parents Don and Mary Goodbrand, sister Alma Squire, brother John Goodbrand and brothers-in-law: Allan Squire and Joe Boatmun.  

If desired, memorial donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Calgary.

A private family interment will take place and she will be laid to rest at the Youngstown Cemetery
