It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ross G. Ringdahl of Drumheller formerly of Sunnynook, AB, on February 1, 2023, at age 68. Ross was predeceased by his parents Jack and Doris Ringdahl and sister Mary Jean Oliver. Ross’s random acts of kindness, friendly phone calls, his wonderful memory, agricultural insights and business acumen will be missed by Aunt Florence Haynes; nephew Travis Oliver and brother-in-law Brian; niece Stacy (Jared) Bauereiss and the great nephews Callan, Slater, and Patton; sister Judy (Kevin) Swanson and nephews Warren and Ethan and extended family.
A private family service is planned.
He will also send you rain for the seed you sow in the ground, and the food that comes from the land will be rich and plentiful. In that day your cattle will graze in broad meadows.
(By Sherrie Bradley Neal)
Sown in the earth by skillful hands
Brought forth by sun and storm.
Destined for a harvest day
Fulfilled when ripe grain forms.
Golden wheat in sheaves prepared
For winter that will reign,
The story of the life of man
Told by the golden grain.
Made from the earth by loving hands
Through heat and rain prepared,
To face the joys and storms of life
And treasured moments shared.
When at last the harvest comes
As the fields receive the dew,
A life well lived leaves legacy
The Master’s plan in view.
