My deepest condolences.
Terri, Karen & I were a pack of three going to Innisfail high school grades 10-12 & running the roads between Innisfail & Red Deer in my 66 Valiant!
We parted ways in 1981 as we were posted to Winnipeg. We stayed connected over the years and met up in 1994 for a quick visit. From that time till Tanner finished school I received a Christmas card along with a school picture every year. Terri was a extremely proud Mother ❤️
Through the powers of Facebook and messenger we stayed connected. I am so thankful for the “Base Brat” reunion and our time, tears & laughter together.
A piece of my heart is saddened but that piece is also filled with incredible memories from our very important growing teenage years together.
Rest In Peace my dearest friend, till me meet again.

My deepest and heartfelt condolences to Terri's family and friends during this very difficult time. I have known Terri since we went to school together in Grade 2 and attended Brownies in Calgary. We reunited again when we were 16 when our families were both stationed at CFB Penhold. It was so crazy the first day that I ran into her on the base and I remembered her from an old photo from Grade 2 where we were all dressed up in our fancy Easter bonnets! She really didn't look much different and I would have known her smile and her laugh anywhere! She was always so shocked that I recognized her. Terri and I stayed in touch for most of the rest our lives, although we lost touch a couple of times throughout the years, but we always reconnected and it was like no time had ever passed in between.
Over the past few years Terri and I had really reconnected and had become very close. Her and I decided to plan the base brat reunion in May of 2018 in Red Deer and that even if nobody else attended, the two of us would be there to spend time together and catch up! To our great pleasure, the day couldn't have gone any better and so many of our friends and acquaintances were there to share the special day with us! She later told me that it was one of the happiest days of her life and that it meant so very much to her. Thank goodness we were able to have that amazing time together and share so many memories and moments.
I am going to miss our long talks on the phone, your infectious laugh, your beautiful and kind heart and all the special memories we have shared. Terri, rest in peace, my dear friend. Please give my dad and my sister a great big hug from me. Till we meet again, Ter. You will be forever in my heart and remembered always. Heaven has gained another beautiful angel.
