Obituary of Kelly Julius Grantham

Kelly Julius Grantham Surrounded by his family, Kelly Julius Grantham passed away at the age of 81 on November 24th, 2017 in the Hanna Hospital. Kelly was born to Alvena and William Grantham on October 3rd, 1936 in Hanna, Alberta. As the youngest of five siblings, Kelly was raised on the family farm and attended the Chain Lakes School. On January 10th,1959 he married Ida Nill and together they were blessed with three children Lana, Terry,and Douglas. Over the years Kelly had numerous occupations, however his true passion was farming. Kelly enjoyed spending time fishing, countless hours with great-grand-dog Tink, and watching his children followed by his grandchildren play multiple sports. Kelly leaves behind his loving partner of 34 years, Barbara Beagrie. His three children Lana (Ira) Ross, Terry (Debra) Grantham, and Douglas (Tracey) Grantham. His daughter Lana’s children Jolaine and Graham, step-children Joel (Shannon), Brendon (Jovanna), and Shelby, his son Terry’s children Ashley, Ryley (Jade), and great-granddaughter Kennedy, his son Douglas’s children Taylor, Jordyn, and Abby. His sister Vera Campion and numerous nieces and nephews. Kelly is pre-decreased by his parents Alvena and William, his brother Louis, and sisters Ruby and Eleanor. A come and go Celebration of Life will be held at the Hanna Senior Circle from 2-4pm on Thursday November 30th, 2017.
