Obituary of Raymond Gordon Abram

Ray Abram passed away at the Hanna hospital at the age of 75, on March 22/2020 with his wife Clara and his daughter Alona by his side. Ray was born in Wayne AB and raised in the Endiang district most of his life. In 1970 he married Clara Benson of Calgary AB and within this union two children were born, Gordon and Alona. Ray’s life was his kids and his grandkids first and foremost. As everyone knows he loved his oilers and enjoyed playing ball. Hunting, fishing and tinkering were his passions. Raymond is survived by his wife Clara; son Gordon (Sarah) Abram; daughter Alona (Bryce) Quaschnick; grandchildren: Megan and Jenna Abram; brothers: Brian Abram (Vicki Ballinger), Larry (Diane) Abram; mother-in-law Maxine Benson; sisters-in-law: Judy (Doug) Reeves, Marge McGuire, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Rose, father Albert, nephew Steven, father-in-law Lloyd Benson, and brother-in-law Keith McGuire. If one so desires donations in memory of Raymond can be made directly to STARS, 1441 Aviation Park NE, Box 570, Calgary, Alberta, T2E 8M7, or the Hanna Ladies Auxiliary, Box 23, Hanna, AB, T0J 1P0. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held, due to the seriousness of COVID- 19. Social Spacing and a limit to 50 invited people to the service. Anyone travelling outside of Canada must isolate themselves for 14 days before attending any services.
