With broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of Carolyn Jean Fossen, beloved wife of Jan Fossen on Sunday April 6, 2025, at the age of 59.

Carolyn was born in Hanna, Alberta on May 10, 1965, to parents Donna and Bob Crowle. She was raised in Hanna, Alberta along with her brothers Rob and Ross.

She is survived and missed by her husband Jan; brothers: Ross (Char) and Rob; nieces: Bret, Drew, Jessika (Wesley) and their children: Keeley, Wyatt, and Layne; in-laws: Barry and Pauline; sister-in-law Jodie (Sean) and children: Oliva, Jack, and Elizabeth. She is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and her faithful companion Harley.

Carolyn was predeceased by her parents Donna and Bob Crowle, and many aunts and uncles.

A “Come and Go” Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 1:00p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Hanna Community Centre, with a short program at 1:00 p.m.

 A private interment will take place at the Hanna Cemetery.
