Obituary of Bryce Jeffrey Quaschnick

Bryce Quaschnick passed away at the Foothills hospital at the age of 47, on February 6, 2025, with his wife Alona, parents Merle and Linda and sister Angela by his side.

Bryce and Alona were married in 2003 and subsequently took over the family farm. His dad still came out and helped on the farm every day. Bryce’s life was his wife, family and farm.

He loved to play baseball, hockey and enjoyed his farming and his cows.

Bryce was very enthusiastic about coaching hockey and ball to minors. The kids on the team always respected Bryce and was an excellent mentor for the kids.

Bryce is survived by his wife Alona, parents: Merle and Linda Quaschnick; sister Angela (Mike) Grott; mother-in-law Clara Abram; brother-in-law Gordon Abram; nieces: Avery Grott, Megan Abram and Jenna Abram; and nephew Lucus Grott. He is also survived by many special aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is predeceased by his grandparents: Ted and Tony Quaschnick, Roy and Jeanne Hutton; uncles Wes Quaschnick, Rod Quaschnick, Doug Hutton, Auntie Vivian Quaschnick and father-in-law Ray Abram.

Bryce you are deeply missed as you touched the hearts of so many.

Celebration of Life~ Wednesday, February 12, 2025, 1:00 p.m., Hanna Community Centre, Hanna. There will be no live streaming, however the service will be recorded and made available asap.
